Review of descriptive statistics. Hypothesis and significance tests. Basic principles of experimentation. Analysis of variance requirements. Completely randomized designs; random blocks and Latin square. Factorial experiments. Experiments in sub-divided plots or “Split-plot”. Reticulated designs or “Lattices”. Covariance. Correlation and regression coefficient.
