{"id":4970,"date":"2021-05-06T17:52:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-06T17:52:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agrarias.ufpr.br\/pgapven\/?page_id=4970"},"modified":"2026-04-02T08:12:42","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T11:12:42","slug":"presentation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/agrarias.ufpr.br\/pgapven\/presentation\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"justificado\">The Graduate Program in Agronomy \u2013 Plant Production (PGAPV) was approved by the University Council of the Federal University of Paran\u00e1 (UFPR) on June 9, 1994, under Resolution No. 08\/94-COUN, initially offering a Master&#8217;s degree program, followed by a Doctoral program one year later. In June 1997, PGAPV was accredited and recommended by the Technical Advisory Group of CAPES under reference number CAA\/GTC\/040. In the 2007\u20132009 evaluation, the program was upgraded from level 4 to level 5. In the most recent evaluation (2017\u20132020), it was classified as level 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificado\">Currently, PGAPV has three research areas: Plant Protection and Environmental Safety; Plant Physiology, Morphogenesis, and Biotechnology; and Plant Production in Sustainable Agriculture. The program includes 20 permanent faculty members and 4 collaborating faculty members who supervise and co-supervise more than 70 graduate students.
