Sampling \u2013 damage thresholds, forecasting, and control. Damage \u2013 damage assessment, economic thresholds, types of damage, yield losses. Control methods: chemical control; Biological control \u2013 types of biological control, use of predators, parasitoids, and pathogens. Plant resistance to insects; Cultural methods and environmental interference \u2013 physical modifications of the environment, good agronomic practices. Semiochemicals and behavioral control techniques. Legislative methods. Development of IPM techniques and programs in fruit production.
