The Plant Protection and Environmental Safety team studies the basis of biology and weed management and; life cycles, etiology and epidemiology of pathogens and pests, seeking integrated technological solutions that are more sustainable to the environment. Development of bio-inputs with selectivity to beneficial organisms, and studies of mechanisms of action and detection of resistance to fungicides, insecticides and herbicides.
