Physiology, Morphogenesis and Biotechnology
Study of plant growth, development, and interactions with the environment, aiming to improve processes related to crop production. Use of plant growth regulators and bioactive compounds of natural origin to increase agricultural crop productivity, mitigate abiotic stresses, and enhance the efficiency of plant propagation through macropropagation and micropropagation. Study of the control of in vitro morphogenesis via organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis, as well as genetic transformation of plants.
