Plant Micropropagation Laboratory
Research interests
The Laboratory serves the teaching and research activities of undergraduate and graduate students. The research carried out involves the culture of plant tissues, with an emphasis on micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis, micro-grafting and culture of cells in suspension of fruit, forest, ornamental, medicinal and large cultures. Genetic transformation works by Agrobacterium and biobalistics are also carried out.
