Content:

History and fundamentals of  Integrated crop-livestock systems. Principles of soil x plant x animal interaction. History, evolution and productivity indexes of agriculture and beef and dairy cattle in Brazil and Paraná. Seasonality of forage production and livestock performance. Environmental and economic sustainability in Integrated crop-livestock systems. Fundamentals of nutrient cycling. Pasture-based meat and milk production systems. Breeds and crossbreeds for meat and milk production in pastures. Strategic supplementation for meat and milk production in pastures. Criteria for implementing crop-livestock integration in agricultural and livestock areas. Biological and economic aspects for the choice of agricultural and livestock combinations in Integrated crop-livestock systems.
