Physiology, Morphogenesis and Biotechnology
Study of the growth, development, and interactions of plants with the environment, aiming to improve processes related to plant production. Use of plant growth regulators and bioactive sources from natural origin to increase the productivity of agricultural crops, mitigate abiotic stresses, increase the efficiency of vegetative propagation of plants via macropropagation and micropropagation. Study of in vitro morphogenesis control via organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis and genetic transformation of plants.
