Development of scientific and technical knowledge that will allow the implementation and maintenance of sustainable agricultural systems. From multidisciplinary studies, it will support the development of technologies to ensure food security, social inclusion and improvement of the farmers live quality, as to reduce the negative pressure over the biodiversity. In this dynamic, it seeks to identify and understand the synergisms and emerging properties from plant-environmental interactions.
